• Mrs. Carolyn McDonald

    Mrs. McDonald is dedicated to the students of F. W. Holbein School and takes great pride in the accomplishments of her students and the opportunities offered to them through both academic and extracurricular activities. 

    Working alongside the Vice Principal, she is pleased with the implementation of the new PBIS and Pathways programs both of which are helping to enhance the students excellent educational experience.

    Students at Holbein also have the opportunity to take classes such as Algebra, Advanced Literacy and Science along with choosing from over 18 electives ranging from Yoga, Stem Challenges, and World Travelers to College Readiness, History through Film and Music and Get Fit.   After school students are encouraged to participate in sports such as Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, and Baseball or try out a new talent by joining the Chorus, Band, Newspaper Club or the Annual School Musical.

    Mrs. McDonald earned her undergraduate degree from Glassboro State College in Elementary Education and her Master's degree from Rider University.

  • Mr. Daniel Finn

    Mr. Finn is very excited to be working with the students and staff at F.W. Holbein Middle School, and to be a member of the Mt. Holly community.  For the last nine years, Mr. Finn served the students of Trenton, NJ, teaching 7th and 8th grade Social Studies for six years, and as the Assistant Principal / Director of Culture for the last three years.  Prior to teaching at the middle school level, Mr. Finn was a High School History teacher for two years.

    Mr. Finn has also worked with many students athletically, having previously coached Middle School basketball, Middle School and High School lacrosse, and High School football.  He is looking forward to encouraging the Holbein students to get involved in athletics, as well as other extra-curricular activities, allowing for individual growth as a whole person.

    Mr. Finn has a B.A. in History from Rutgers University, and a M.A. in Educational Leadership from Rider University.  When not at school, Mr. Finn spends as much time as he can with his wife, their five year old daughter, and three year old son.
